| Mark Jungherr free clinic at Oklahoma City State Fair Grounds in Oklahoma City, OK. Mr. Jungherr will teach participants how to set up a judges card and will explain what judges look for when judging hunters and equitation. Demonstration riders will ride in hunter under saddle, hunter over fences, equitation on the flat and equitation over fences. Mr. Jungherr will critique the rides, explaining the faults and good aspects of each ride. Other judges may participate. This clinic is to educate riders, trainers, parents and others that are getting started at the grass roots level of horse showing on what judges look for and how they judge hunters and equitation. | Beginning at 6:30 PM the Old Dominion Horse Show (which runs July 21-25) will host a buffet dinner for prospective college students and their parents at the Deep Run Hunt Club in Manakin Sabot, VA. 8 colleges and universities with riding teams and equine programs from around the country will offer a presentation and question and answer session on the school's curriculum and discussion of scholarship opportunities. There will be time before and after the program for students to meet one on one with coaches and recruiters. This event is designed for High School students, Junior High students and their parents as a fun and informative eventing. Explanations of IHSA, IDA, NCAA and ANRC will also be discussed.
