Raising The Bar Of Equestrian Style For A Competitive Edge

For the seventh consecutive year, ESSEX CLASSICS is the Title Sponsor of the USHJA Hunterdon Equitation Cup Classic and the Award Sponsor of the USHJA International Hunter Derby Series and Championships.

The premier brand in show shirts for over 25 years, ESSEX CLASSICS has now expanded its collection of Talent Yarn® show shirts to include vibrant color. Precision crafted of high performance nanotech fabric, Talent Yarn® functionally reduces your body temperature, keeping you cool and dry in the ring, while providing long lasting UV sun protection. The tapered body fit with under sleeve mesh ventilation panels comfortably flatters. Neat wrap collar and contrasting trim detail furnish a fashionable edge.  Olympic rider Anne Kursinski says, "The Talent Yarn shirt is incredibly cool, light, and allows total freedom of movement.  I love that is stylish and athletic at the same time.  This is the most comfortable show shirt I have ever worn."

A Sporting Tradition - Iconic Horse Shows Across the United States

The USHJA Wheeler Museum's latest exhibit, A Sporting Tradition - Iconic Horse Shows Across the United States, opened June 2, 2014 and will run through the end of 2014.  We encourage visitors to the Kentucky Horse Park to stop by the USHJA Headquarters to view the exhibit.

The exhibit utilizes photographs, artifacts, and other memorabilia to showcase some of the most historically significant and storied competitions across the United States that featured hunter and jumper classes.

Old traditions come to life as you revisit the heritage of these iconic horse shows.  Explore their pageantry, relive their legendary moments, and celebrate their contributions to their respective communities.

Museum hours are Monday through Friday, from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
