"The Plaid Horse is thrilled to partner with the USHJA Horsemanship Quiz Challenge," said Plaid Horse owner Piper Klemm. "When I first attended the national finals, all I could think is how cool it would have been to participate in it as a young rider. It is such a great opportunity for riders to learn and show off their skills as successful horsemen and vital to bridging the grass roots and higher levels of the hunter/jumper industry."

Finding Normal: Bauman Family Basks in Support Through USHJA Foundation Making a Dream GrantFoundation

By Lindsay Brock

On the evening of Nov. 22, 2014, the Bauman family of Woodstock, Illinois, were immersed in celebration. Tyson, a police officer, and Amber, trainer at their farm Valley View Acres, were attending the Illinois Hunter Jumper Association banquet with their 11-year old daughter Alexis and various clients. They were at the peak of a year full of success, until a single phone call rattled their lives.
