USHJA Children's & Adult Amateur Jumper Regional Championships Locations Announced

Lexington, KY- Great news for Children's and Adult Amateur Jumper riders interested in a chance to compete in a Championship, 30 bid packets for hosting a championship were received from across the country!

The 2013 dates and locations of the four USHJA Children's and Adult Amateur Jumper Regional Championships have been announced.

They are as follows:

The North Regional Championships will be held:
Representing all of the states within Zones 1, 2 and 5
September 4-7, 2013, at Hits on the Hudson VIII in Saugerties, NY.

The South Regional Championships will be held:
Representing all of the states within Zones 3 and 4
June 19-23, 2013 at Atlanta Summer Classic II in Conyers, GA.

The Central Regional Championships will be held:
Representing all of the states within Zones 6 and 7
July 24-28, 2013, at GO Show in Oklahoma City, OK.

The West Regional Championships will be held:
Representing all of the states within Zones 8, 9, 10, 11 and 12 September 24-29, 2013, at Sacramento International Welcome Week in Rancho Murieta, CA.

Competitions will be held for teams and/or individual riders. A team will consist of a minimum of three horse and rider combinations, but not more than four. The number of teams that each state can send to the Championship will be determined by the number of Children's jumper riders and Adult Amateur jumper riders residing in a state the previous year. As an example, a state with fewer than 150 Children's jumper riders will be permitted one team.

If you would like to have the chance of representing your state at a Regional Championship, the Rider Application and $30 application fee is due no later than April 15, 2013 to USHJA.
