Qualifying
Every horse that earns a minimum of $500 in USHJA International Hunter Derby classes at competitions starting between June 2, 2012, and June 1, 2013, is eligible to compete. In addition, the top three placing horses from the 2012 Derby Finals are automatically qualified to compete.

Invitations to Compete
USHJA will email invitations to compete in the 2013 USHJA International Hunter Derby Championship to the recorded owners of the qualified horses no later than June 21, 2013. The invitation will include an entry form and a link to the entire online prize list.
Entry Deadline
Entries close on August 1, 2013. The entry fee for the USHJA International Hunter Derby Championship is $750.
80% of each entry fee is added back to the total prize money. All other entry fees, stall fees, drug fees,
night watch fees and all other applicable fees are paid to the Bluegrass Festival Horse Show. The entry forms
must be mailed to the Bluegrass Festival Horse Show at 1517 Richmond Road,
Lexington, KY 40502. Entries must be received in the Bluegrass Festival Horse Show office or postmarked by August 1, 2013.
If your entries are not received in the Bluegrass Festival Horse Show office or postmarked by August 1, 2013, you will not be able
to compete in the Championship.
The entry fee is non-refundable after August 1, 2013.
