2026 Board of Directors Elections

Secretary/Treasurer and Four At-Large Directors

Thank you for your membership, and we look forward to your participation in the 2026 election. As a Senior Active member in good standing, you are eligible to participate in the nomination process for positions on the Board. Elections to the USHJA Board of Directors are voted on by Board members based on input from USHJA membership through the nomination process.

In this election, the Nominating Committee will be seeking nominations from the membership for the National Officer position of Secretary/Treasurer as well as four Director At-Large seats.

The following provides an overview of the process for the 2026 election:

Secretary/Treasurer and Director At-Large Election Timeline

JUNE 1	Membership nomination period opens.
JUNE 30	Membership nomination period closes at 5pm ET for Secretary/Treasurer and Director At-Large seats; nominees receive questionnaire that must be completed and submitted to the USHJA Executive Office by July 31.
JULY 31	Completed nominee questionnaires due to the USHJA Executive Office by 5pm ET.
SEPT/OCT	Nominating Committee conducts candidate interviews
NOVEMBER	Final slate of candidates added to Annual Meeting Board agenda and posted on USHJA website; candidates not selected will be notified prior to announcement of final slate.
DECEMBER	Election is held during the 2026 USHJA Annual Meeting; newly elected Board members take their seats at the conclusion of the Annual Meeting.
