Markel/USHJA Zone Jumper Team Championships: Apply
Riders interested in competing in the Markel/USHJA Zone Jumper Team Championships must submit an application and earn a minimum of 20 points in their respective 1.10/1.15m Junior and Amateur Jumper and 1.20/1.25m Junior and Amateur Jumper sections at USEF-licensed competitions by their zone’s deadline for a chance to qualify.
Qualifying periods vary by zone championship, beginning 30 days after the 2024 championship and ending 45 days prior to the 2025 championship, as noted below.
Application Deadlines by Zone:
- North (Zones 1, 2, 5, & 6): May 4, 2025
- South (Zones 3, 4, & 7): June 1, 2025
- West (Zones 8, 9 & 10): August 31, 2025

Eligibility Requirements:
- U.S. resident
- Submit an application and the application fee prior to your zone’s deadline
- Current Active USEF and USHJA Junior or Amateur member in good standing

Applications do not indicate a commitment to attend but allow a rider's points to count toward qualifying.
Application Fee
- December 1 - 45 days prior to each Zone Jumper Team Championship:
- Non-refundable fee $75 per horse
- $25 each additional horse
- Late Application Fee: 44 days - 24 hours prior to the horse inspection
- Non-refundable fee $150 per horse
