Markel/USHJA Zone Jumper Team Championships: Host/Management 

The Markel/USHJA Zone Jumper Team Championships provide riders with a competitive team experience and an opportunity to earn Zone Horse of the Year points in the 1.10/1.15m Junior and Amateur Jumper and the 1.20/1.25m Junior and Amateur Jumper sections. The Championships are held by region and consist of both team and individual competition.

Interested competition managers are encouraged to apply to host as many of the three USHJA Jumper Championship programs as possible. Applications to host the 2026-2028 Zone Jumper Team Championships will open April 1, 2025, and close June 1, 2025.

Minimum Requirements:

• USEF Licensed Jumper competition and facility that have held a USEF-licensed competition previously

• Held in one of the four regions for which the Championships are being held:

  • Northeast Region (Zones 1 & 2
  • North Central Region (Zones 5 & 6)
  • South Region (Zones 3, 4, & 7)
  • West Region (Zones 8, 9, & 10)
• Held between July 1 and November 30
