The Naomi Blumenthal Memorial Training Grant provides financial support for equestrians wishing to continue their equestrian education. Created in honor of Naomi Blumenthal, the grant is intended to support the furtherance of equestrian education in any of the following areas:
Each year, the USHJA, Professional Horseman’s Association, Interscholastic Equestrian Association, and Intercollegiate Horse Shows Association each donate $500 annually to support the grant for a total of $2,000 awarded to at least one member per year.
Naomi Blumenthal was an avid horsewoman who exemplified true servant leadership through her time and commitment as a volunteer, committee member, board member and officer with numerous equestrian sport and benevolent organizations. Naomi was an educator and was passionate about teaching, mentoring and sharing her knowledge about equestrian sports with others. The Naomi Blumenthal Memorial Training Grant is dedicated in her memory and intended to carry on her passion for the sport and sharing of knowledge.

This grant is open to individuals who are members of any of the following organizations:
Individuals who are members of any of these organizations must be members in good standing and have been a member for at least one year prior to the date of submission of this application.
Grant applications will open August 5 and close October 15 at 11:59 pm EST. Applications must be complete and submitted on time to be considered. The winner of the grant will be announced at the USHJA Annual Meeting held each December.
