Lexington, Ky.—March 12, 2025—The U.S. Hunter Jumper Association is pleased to announce the dates and locations for the third annual USHJA Outreach Festivals. This year, 14 Festivals will be held across multiple zones from June through November, offering the atmosphere of championship-level competition at a more affordable cost to USHJA members.
Outreach Festivals will be held on the following dates and locations:
To qualify for a USHJA Outreach Festival, members must compete in at least one Outreach program class and be a USHJA member at the free Outreach level or higher on or before the first day of competition. Horses do not need to be registered or microchipped in order to participate in Outreach program classes and Festivals, only those wishing to accrue points toward year-end Outreach awards must be registered with USHJA and microchipped.
The USHJA Outreach Program was established to engage and connect Hunter and Jumper riders, trainers, and horse owners with the USHJA by providing the opportunity to earn national recognition in classes from walk trot to 3' in Hunter and Equitation sections and .60m-1.20m in Jumper sections at rated and local shows. Any rider may compete in Outreach classes, but riders wishing to compete in a Festival or earn points must be a USHJA free Outreach member or above.
In addition to being eligible for incredible prizes and awards, the highest pointed Gold level Outreach member in each Zone as of August 1, 2025 will earn the Golden Backstage Pass to participate in the USHJA Affiliate Championships.
