Intercollegiate Horse Shows Association Becomes Title Sponsor for USHJA 3’3” Hunter Seat Medal Through 2027

Lexington, Ky.—Sept. 19, 2024—The U.S. Hunter Jumper Association is pleased to welcome the Intercollegiate Horse Shows Association as the title sponsor for the USHJA 3’3” Hunter Seat Medal. This exciting partnership will commence in 2024 with the East and West Coast Finals, and expand in 2025 to cover both the classes and Finals through 2027.

As a longtime Affiliate organization of the USHJA, this collaboration further highlights IHSA's support and dedication to providing opportunities to equestrians. The USHJA 3’3” Hunter Seat Medal is a national equitation final at a fence height of 3’3” and serves as a stepping stone for Junior Equitation riders.

The Medal is open to Junior riders, who have not competed in any of the following National Equitation Finals with fences at 3’6” within the same competition year, including the USHJA Gladstone Cup Equitation Classic, ASPCA Maclay Finals, USEF Hunter Seat Medal Finals, USEF Show Jumping Talent Search Finals (East or West), WIHS Equitation Classic Finals, Jump Canada Medal Finals or the North American Equitation Championship. In addition to a calendar of classes held across the country, bicoastal Finals are held annually.
