Lexington, Ky.—Sept. 27, 2024—The U.S. Hunter Jumper Association is pleased to open a late application period for those wishing to compete in the 2024 Marshall+Sterling Insurance/USHJA National Championships. Prospective competitors can apply through October 14 to be placed on the waitlist for the event, held at the South Point Hotel, Casino, & Spa in Las Vegas, Nevada, from November 11-17, 2024, alongside The Las Vegas National Horse Show.

Applications are available online through ryegate.com. All applications for Rated sections that are submitted between August 28 and October 14 will be placed at the bottom of the waitlist for each applied section. Those who applied prior to the initial August 27 deadline will receive links with entry information, schedule, stabling, and feed/bedding orders in an acceptance letter via email. Riders must accept or decline their invitation to compete by October 5.

The USHJA invites members across the country to apply for a chance to qualify. Qualifying requirements vary based on the section and are largely based on Zone Horse of the Year points or Zone events between December 1, 2023, and August 27, 2024. Members interested in attending must apply and pay the $100 non-refundable application fee by October 14, 2024, in order to be eligible to qualify.

The USHJA Affiliate Championships for nominated members of USHJA Affiliate Organizations and Outreach members who have earned the Outreach Golden Backstage Pass remained unchanged. All USHJA Affiliate Organizations submitted their nominees by August 1.
