Saugerties, N.Y.—Aug. 1, 2022—The Markel/USHJA Zone Jumper Team Championships took to HITS-on-the-Hudson, July 28-31, with over 40 riders vying for medals in the 1.10/1.15m and 1.20/1.25m sections. Chefs d’Equipe Annie Dotoli from Zone 1 and James Benedetto from Zone 2 led the competition.
“I love the program,” Benedetto said. “I think it’s a great stepping stone for the young riders, and to help the riders learn how to be on a team in a Nations Cup atmosphere. Our sport is so individually oriented that is fun for them to cheer for their teammates."
