Nomination Period Open for Five USHJA Board of Directors Seats

Lexington, Ky.—May 16, 2022—The U.S. Hunter Jumper Association is pleased to announce that the member nomination period is open for four At-Large Director seats, as well as the Officer position of Secretary/Treasurer on the USHJA Board of Directors. The member nomination period closes August 15. 

Elections to the USHJA Board of Directors are voted on by Board members based on input from USHJA membership through the nomination process. Members may nominate a single individual for multiple positions, and they may nominate themselves for any available position. After careful review of all nominees, the Nominating Committee will recommend two candidates for each open seat on the Board of Directors. The final slate of candidates, as prepared by the Nominating Committee, will be released in November, ahead of the election during the 2022 USHJA Annual Meeting in December.

Senior Active Competing or Senior Education/Non-Competing members in good standing are eligible to participate in the election process and can do so through their USHJA member account.
