Lexington, Ky.—April 19, 2024—The U.S. Hunter Jumper Association is pleased to announce that the member nomination period is open for the USHJA Board of Directors At-Large seat vacancy. This election is held in accordance with USHJA Bylaws to fill the vacant Board of Directors seat. The member nomination period closes on May 6.
Senior Active Competing or Senior Education/Non-Competing members in good standing are eligible to participate in the election process and can do so here.
Elections to the USHJA Board of Directors are voted on by Board members based on input from USHJA membership through the nomination process. Members may nominate a single individual for multiple positions, and they may nominate themselves for any available position. After careful review of all nominees, the Nominating Committee will recommend two candidates for each open seat on the Board of Directors. The final slate of candidates, as prepared by the Nominating Committee, will be released in July, ahead of the election during a special Board of Directors meeting in early July.
