Nomination Period Open for USHJA Board of Directors At-Large Seat Vacancy

Lexington, Ky.—December 10, 2024—The U.S. Hunter Jumper Association is pleased to announce the member nomination period for the new USHJA Board of Directors At-Large seat vacancy is open through December 27. This election is held in accordance with USHJA Bylaws to fill the vacant Board of Directors seat following the election results at the USHJA Annual Meeting on December 9. 

Senior Active Competing or Senior Education/Non-Competing members in good standing are eligible to participate in the election process and can do so here.

Elections to the USHJA Board of Directors are voted on by Board members based on input from USHJA membership through the nomination process. Members may nominate a single individual for multiple positions, and they may nominate themselves for any available position. After careful review of all nominees, the Nominating Committee will recommend two candidates for each open seat on the Board of Directors. The final slate of candidates, as prepared by the Nominating Committee, will be released in February, ahead of the election during a special Board of Directors meeting in early March.
