Lexington, Ky.—March 7, 2019—On the heels of a record-breaking year for the USHJA International Hunter Derby Program and Green Hunter Incentive Program, the U.S. Hunter Jumper Association is pleased to welcome back Platinum Performance as the title sponsor of the Platinum Performance/USHJA Hunter Week in Lexington, Kentucky, which hosts both championships for these programs.

The Platinum Performance/USHJA Green Hunter Incentive Championships will be held August 13-15, 2019, with the Platinum Performance/USHJA International Hunter Derby Championship taking place August 15-17, 2019. Each of these Championships bring together the best Hunters for a thrilling week of competition. In 2018, Platinum Performance/USHJA Hunter Week paid out more than $560,000 in prize money available to approximately 300 of the country's top Hunters.

Last year, Tori Colvin claimed the top prize in the $289,730 Platinum Performance/USHJA International Hunter Derby Championship. Marking the first time in history, two champions were crowned in the Platinum Performance/USHJA Green Hunter Incentive Championships in 2018. Patricia Griffith and Callie Seaman's Endeavor won the 3'/3'3" Championship, earning $23,321 in total prize money over the three days of competition, and Sandy Ferrell and Stephanie Bulger's Hemingway won the 3'6"/3'9" Championship, taking home $10,441 over the two rounds.
Only enrolled horses are eligible to qualify for either of the Championships. Enrolled horses must compete in a minimum of two USHJA Green Hunter Incentive Stake classes at competitions starting between December 1, 2017, and July 24, 2019, to be eligible to qualify for the 2019 Platinum Performance/USHJA Green Hunter Incentive Championships. Every horse enrolled in the USHJA International Hunter Derby Program that earns a minimum of $500 in USHJA International Hunter Derby classes, while enrolled, at competitions starting between June 2, 2018, and June 1, 2019, is eligible to compete at the Platinum Performance/USHJA International Hunter Derby Championship.
