Registration Open for 2024 USHJA Annual Meeting, December 9-12 in Tucson, Arizona

Lexington, Ky.—Sept. 23, 2024—As the U.S. Hunter Jumper Association marks its 20th anniversary, the 2024 USHJA Annual Meeting is set to return to where it all began: the El Conquistador Tucson in Tucson, Arizona, from December 9-12. Registration is now open, and those passionate about the sport are invited to join the celebration at this milestone event.

New this year, the Annual Meeting will introduce an interactive format designed to foster discussion and active participation. A series of workshops will serve as open forums, allowing individuals and Task Forces to bring forward key topics for in-depth discussion. These in-person sessions aim to engage attendees in critical conversations about the sport’s growth and industry changes.

Task Forces and Working Groups will complete rule changes and specification updates ahead of the event, allowing the Annual Meeting to focus on forward-thinking dialogue. Additionally, the Chair's Council, Judge's Task Force, Zone Council, and Affiliates Council will convene, offering further opportunities for collaboration across all levels of the sport.

Key events such as the Rule Change Forum, Welcome Reception presented by Desert International Horse Park, State of the Association with President Britt McCormick, the prestigious Evening of Equestrians Awards Banquet, and special 20th anniversary celebrations will also take place throughout the week. Members interested in attending may register online for a discounted rate of $200 now through December 6. Tickets to the Evening of Equestrians Awards Banquet are available for $100 for a single ticket and $900 for a table for 10 through December 6. On-site registration will be available for $250, with Evening of Equestrians single tickets available for $135 or $1,000 for a table of 10. 

A block of hotel rooms for members attending the USHJA Annual Meeting has been reserved at the El Conquistador Tucson, A Hilton Resort, with rates starting at $189 per night. Attendees are encouraged to book their accommodations early to ensure availability as the room block rate expires November 18. Discounts for air travel and rental cars are also available through USHJA member benefits. Media are invited to cover the event, with one complimentary registration available per credentialed outlet. Media interested in covering the 2024 USHJA Annual Meeting must fill out a media credential form by Monday, December 2.
