Seventh Annual Marshall+Sterling Insurance/USHJA National Championships Return to Las Vegas

Lexington, Ky.—April 28, 2025—The seventh annual Marshall+Sterling Insurance/USHJA National Championships will return to the South Point Hotel, Casino, & Spa in Las Vegas, Nevada, from November 10-16, 2025. Hosted once again by Desert International Horse Park, this premier event brings together top Hunter, Jumper, and Equitation riders from across the country for a week of championship-caliber competition.

Applications for the 2025 Championships will open in June. Whether aiming for rated sections or the affiliate divisions, members are encouraged to review qualifying pathways and prepare for an exciting year of national championship competition.

The Hunter schedule will showcase divisions ranging from Green Hunters to Ponies, along with two $25,000 USHJA National Hunter Derbies—one Open and one for Juniors and Amateurs. Jumper competitors will take center stage in the USEF/USHJA National Jumper Championships, featuring sections from 1.00m to 1.40m. Equitation riders will shine in a full slate of age-group classes and the IHSA/USHJA 3’3” Hunter Seat Medal Final - West.

In addition to rated divisions, the Championships will again feature special sections for nominated members of USHJA Affiliate Organizations and Outreach Golden Backstage Pass recipients. A range of divisions will offer competition in Hunters and Equitation from 2' to 2'6", and Jumpers from .70m to 1.00m.

Qualifying requirements vary based on the section and are largely based on Zone Horse of the Year points or Zone events between December 1, 2024, and August 29, 2025. Affiliate competitors are nominated by their respective USHJA Affiliate Organizations, with each Organization allowed to nominate up to three horse-and-rider combinations per section. Affiliate nominations must be submitted by August 1, 2025, after which nominees will be notified of their acceptance and invited to apply.

Held entirely at the South Point Hotel, Casino, & Spa's Arena & Equestrian Center, the event offers a seamless experience for horses and riders alike. With competition arenas, stabling, and accommodations all under one roof, participants enjoy the convenience of staying onsite, along with access to the hotel’s entertainment and amenities, including restaurants, a casino, bowling alley, spa, and more. Hotel room group codes will be shared with competitors alongside stall assignments after final entries are submitted.
