Lexington, Ky.—Jan. 16, 2025—The U.S. Hunter Jumper Association is pleased to open table sales for the annual USHJA WCHR Spectacular Hunt Gala during the $150,000 USHJA WCHR Peter Wetherill Palm Beach Hunter Spectacular at Wellington
International in Wellington, Florida. The Gala helps fund USHJA’s programs and initiatives, with a portion of the proceeds this year being donated to the USEF Equine Disaster Relief Fund to support recovery efforts in California following the recent wildfires.
The Spectacular Hunt Gala Committee invites members to watch the event from the best seats in the International Club on Saturday, February 15. Tickets are available for tables of 6 or 8 and can be purchased here.
The $150,000 USHJA WCHR Peter Wetherill Palm Beach Hunter Spectacular is the first of three WCHR Spectaculars held throughout the year. Hosted by the Winter Equestrian Festival at Wellington International, this invitation-only class
features top horse-and-rider combinations who qualify by earning Champion or Reserve Champion titles in 3'6" or higher Hunter sections throughout the week. Some riders may also be pre-qualified based on their performances in the previous year’s WCHR Program. The class showcases the best Hunters at WEF 6, competing over a Hunter Classic round with the 12 top-scoring horse-and-rider combinations returning for a thrilling second round.
With the support of generous donors, the USHJA Foundation provides vital grants, scholarships, and funding for programs that help talented equestrians pursue their personal and professional goals.
