Lexington, Ky.—Apr. 4, 2022—For a third consecutive year, the U.S. Hunter Jumper Association has been named a Best Place to Work in Kentucky. The Kentucky Chamber of Commerce and the Kentucky Society for Human Resource Management award the designation to 100 companies across the Commonwealth each year. The USHJA was one of 40 companies in the Small Company category and the only equine association in the state named to the list overall.
“We are thrilled to once again make the list of the top 100 places to work in Kentucky,” said Kevin Price, executive director of the USHJA. “We aim to provide a workplace for our employees that promotes our values of honesty, ownership, respect, stewardship and empowerment. I’m incredibly proud of the culture the USHJA team has created and which is the driving force behind this designation.”
Winners from across the Commonwealth were selected in three categories: small companies of 15-149 employees, medium companies of 150-499 employees and large companies consisting of 500 or more employees (categories based on number of U.S. employees, only Kentucky employees surveyed). The selection process is based on an assessment of the company’s employee policies and procedures and the results of an internal employee survey, which is managed by the Best Companies Group.
Winner rankings from the 18th Annual Best Places to Work in Kentucky list will be announced at an awards dinner Thursday, June 9, 2022, at the Central Bank Center (formerly Lexington Convention Center).
The USHJA is hiring for multiple positions across the association including Membership & Customer Service Assistant, Sports Program Coordinator, Communications Coordinator, Social Media Specialist and Awards & Merchandise Coordinator. Open positions are based at the USHJA office, located at the Kentucky Horse Park in Lexington, Kentucky.
