Lexington, Ky.—Mar. 21, 2025—The U.S. Hunter Jumper Association is pleased to announce an additional $21,000 donation to the USEF Equine Disaster Relief Fund, made possible by a portion of the funds raised during the USHJA WCHR Spectacular Hunt Gala. Combined with the $10,000 previously donated, USHJA is proud to have contributed a total of $31,000 to assist the equestrian community in the wake of the devastating wildfires in California.
In addition to supporting relief efforts, USHJA is pleased to share that the USHJA Annual Auction raised $18,500 to benefit the USHJA Foundation General Fund. These proceeds help sustain key initiatives of the Foundation, including educational programs and grants that empower equestrians of all ages to develop their skills and knowledge, competitive programs that ensure riders at every level have opportunities to excel, and the Horseman’s Assistance Fund, which provides financial relief to equestrians facing unexpected hardships. Funds also support efforts to preserve equestrian history by safeguarding the sport’s rich traditions and stories for future generations, along with the development of philanthropic initiatives that expand access, inclusion, and sustainability within the equestrian community.
This year’s auction featured a variety of exciting items, including an Equine Equipment 60V MAX Revolution Electric Battery Backpack Leaf Blower, a Pivo Equestrian Lite Essential Pack, a mental skills coaching session with Tonya Johnston, and a Human Touch Reveal Ottoman Massager.
USHJA extends its gratitude to all donors and supporters who contributed to these initiatives, reinforcing the organization's commitment to equestrians, horses, and the broader community.
