Lexington, Ky.—April 12, 2022—The U.S. Hunter Jumper Association is now accepting online applications from competition managers wishing to offer USHJA championships, special classes and other programs at the zone and national levels in the 2023 competition year and beyond. Host applications for all programs will close June 1, 2022.
The USHJA requires applications from competitions and facilities looking to host the following programs, all of which are available for application through the online application system:
National Programs
Zone Specific Programs/Classes
Educational Programs
New to the line-up of programs looking for hosts in 2023 are the USHJA Outreach & Affiliate Championship - East, USHJA 1.0/1.05m Child/Adult Zone Jumper Team Championships, USHJA Gladstone Cup Equitation Classic for Amateurs, and expansion of the USHJA Young Hunter Pony Championships with a Central competition.
Applications for all of these programs are due June 1, 2022, with the exception of Outreach competitions. Competitions wishing to offer Outreach may apply at any time throughout the year.
The online process allows a potential host to apply for multiple programs and more easily submit applications for multiple locations. Interested parties may access the application by selecting "USHJA Host Application for Programs" from their USHJA Member Account at my.ushja.org.
